Sounds like a nice idea, but I would look to see how the other place is doing with . If they are very busy renting these items, a little competition will be good, but if they aren’t that busy by renting, the only thing you will do is flood the market and probably loose money ! But it sounds like a good Idea, Good Luck with it !

Who a ?

Who A ?

Anyone who struggles to walk or gets tired after walking a short distance using a . Using an electric is not an admission of defeat and can make a great deal of difference to your quality of life, and can even provide a new lease of life and a new found independence. If you are thinking about getting a , it is probably past time to do it. However, the sooner you using an electric , the longer you might retain the ability to walk.

A disabled can give you more energy because you won’t be using all your energy in trying to walk, or push a traditional wheelchair. Using an electric will help to relieve the strain on shoulder muscles and wrist and elbow joints that are used when pushing yourself in a self propelled wheelchair or someone else in a traditional transit wheelchair. An electric can help to provide you with the freedom to go where ever you want, whenever you want. Some models are capable of travelling up to 35 miles between charges, so the distance you can cover is much greater than in a traditional wheelchair.

A large number of supermarkets and DIY stores as well as other shops offer customers the use of a whilst shopping. If you are not sure if you would one, why not try one and see if it makes shopping any easier. Some places such as large shopping centres or town centres offer Shopmobility, which is a scheme that lends or hires equipment based on the user’s requirements, and then provides brief training on using the equipment. If you go on holiday why not arrange to a instead of taking your wheelchair, and see if it makes a difference.

By getting an electric , you can open many doors that have been previously closed, perhaps because of a disability or illness – such as going shopping, going out for the day, going for a “walk” with the children or grandchildren. You can go up and down steep hills in comfort and without fear of rolling down the hill, and without being worn out for days afterwards. You can visit friends and relatives at your convenience, without needing to rely on public transport. Most scooters have a key to them, and so if the key is removed the cannot be driven. This means that the can be left outside a shop, for example, and it can be “locked” like a car.

If you think that you, a friend or relative a or a powerchair, why not try some and find one that you like. If you know somebody with a , ask them about it, and what improvements it has brought them. scooters can mean the difference between managing to live at home independently, and having to rely on others.

Whether you own a and are looking for or just looking into a new .  The available upgrades and are available to whatever needs you may wish to accommodate. If you tend to use your for a more prolonged period of time you may consider purchasing a larger battery. If your is used in a congested area you may wish to ad mirrors to help navigate. If you drive your across town to play cards or just visit you may like a convenient cane holder or oxygen tank rack. It may be that you are looking to get out of the blistering sun while you trek down to the local market. Whatever you wish the are either available or soon to be.

The market is growing for many reasons. With this growth come companies that are producing all the various extras you can think of. The “After Market” category!

Let’s say hypothetically that you have a but wished that it was a bit smother on your bumpy street. It is possible to upgrade to a pneumatic tire. A pneumatic tire is a tire that is filled with air just like your automobile. This air filled tire will take the bumps and jolts much easier and smoothly than a solid rubber tire will. Maybe you enjoy a Saturday trip to the local mall. Adding a unique basket or shopping bag will enhance your experience and let you navigate without worrying about cumbersome packages.

Ramps and lifts are also considered an accessory to your . Ramps are useful to get onto porches or into the back of a vehicle. Smaller ramps can be used to hurdle small elevations inside a home. Most ramps are made of aluminum and are lightweight, compactable and have an easy to use handle mounted on the side for carrying. Lifts come in multiple purpose functionality. Whether you want to ride your onto a secure perch to haul behind your automobile or need to lift and swing your power wheelchair into the back of an SUV or pick up truck. Ramps and Lifts become needed .

Many companies produce for your needs. I won’t go into the specific companies but the big players in the all have additional products to enhance your user experience. Personally I like to stick with major retailers such as Amazon and eBay because I know if there is an issue in the sales process I have a solid company with excellent procedures in place to make my shopping experience satisfying.

Good Luck!
